This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

Merebrook to Tarvin & Dunham on the Hill

      • Distance is approx. 39 miles grade B. Not too hilly but quite long distance. There is  a big hill near Chester Zoo. Tarmac – no off road.
      • David Brewer is ride leader. Start time is 10:00 am from Merebrook car park, Bromborough.
      • Route is via A41 ; A5117; Rake Lane; Mickle Trafford; Guilden Sutton; Christleton (banana stop); Waverton; Tarvin; Dunham on the Hill (picnic stop). Back via Thornton and Ellesmere Port. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/66749733 Garmin Connect
      • Please bring sandwiches. We could  stop for a coffee at Meadow Lea. Also shops available in Tarvin for take outs.
      • Return is back to Merebrook, but people could divert earlier to Ellesmere Port Station if desired.
