The ride is open to all paid -up members of the Wirral Cycling Group and to any guest who has been on one of our newcomers’ rides.

You must not join a ride if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms or if you have been advised to self-isolate

The ride will be led by Andy Mace and is a C grade ride with significant off road sections including forest tracks. If you have a choice of bikes the one with wider tyres / hybrid is likely to be best.

The ride will start at Ellesmere Port station at 10.30 am with a lunch stop at Delamere Forest visitor center. The ride also will then return to Ellesmere Port.
From Ellesmere Port we will ride via Stoak, Christleton, Duddon and Kelsall to Delamere Forest. There is a visitor centre with drinks and snacks available and we plan to arrive there about 1.30pm. Outward distance is 25 miles.
We will return to Ellesmere Port station via Manley, Dunham and Stanlow; a distance of 15 miles.
There are some hills on this route with about 10 miles of off road including the forest tracks.

Bookings no longer allowed on this date.
