      The ride is open to all paid -up members of the Wirral Cycling Group and to any guest who has been on one of our newcomers’ rides.


      You must not join a ride if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms or if you have been advised to self-isolate


      The ride will be just under 32 miles, Grade C, starting at 10 am from the car park of the Merebrook Hotel besides Bromborough Railway Station on Allport Road.  Trains arrive at Bromborough from Hamilton Square at 9:52 and from Hooton at 9:49 on Wednesday mornings.  The ride leader will be Clare Procter and she will be at the start from 9:45.

      Riders can join the ride at Thornton Hough at 10.30am if they let Clare know in advance.

      We will go out through Eastham to Raby, Thornton Hough and down The Runnel to Neston.  Then the ride will continue through Little Neston and up Denhall Lane to Ness, before going via Willaston and Childer Thornton to the Bridge Wellness Gardens cafe in Great Sutton.  The cafe are offering a meal deal of sandwiches and cake for an amazing £4.50.

      Any rider wishing to avoid Denhall Lane on the day can follow Sue Hughes up Marshlands Rd and Neston Rd to Mill Lane where we will regroup.

      The return trip will take in Overpool, Eastham Ferry, Port Sunlight and Raby Mere before getting back to Bromborough station between 13:30 and 14:00.
