The ride is open to all paid -up members of the Wirral Cycling Group and to any guest who has been on one of our newcomers’ rides.

You must not join a ride if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms or if you have been advised to self-isolate

The ride will be just over 31 miles,  Grade C, starting at 10:30 am from outside the Tudor Rose Tea rooms opposite Port Sunlight station.  Trains arrive at Port Sunlight from Hamilton Square at 9:46 and 9:52 and from Hooton at 10:15 on Wednesday mornings.  The ride leader will be Dave Brewer and he will be at the start from 10:15.

The route out will go via Poulton Lancelyn, past Raby Mere and Willaston to Capenhurst, then onto Shotwick Village and cross-country down the track to Sealand and on to the Board walk at Burton marshes getting to Nets for lunch between 12:30 and 12;45.  The  return trip will head north to Neston and Parkgate, then back to Port Sunlight via Thornton Hough, Brimstage and Storeton.  We aim to be back at Port Sunlight at between 14:30 and 15:00
