      The ride is open to all members of the Wirral Cycling Group and to anyone who has been on one of our newcomers’ rides


      You must not join a ride if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms or if you have been advised to self-isolate


      NOTE:  Change of start location: the ride will start from outside the village hall in Thornton Hough


      Meet at Thornton Hough Village Hall at 10.30 am for a 10.45 am departure.  John Chambers, the ride leader, will be at the Village Hall from 10:15.

      The route will go from Thornton Hough Village Hall via Raby, Benty Heath Lane, Hooton, Heath Lane, the Missing Link, Capenhurst, Dunkirk, along the A5117, through Deeside, Burton Marshes, UP Station Road, along Neston Road, and DOWN Denhall Lane to Net’s for lunch.  Click on this link to see the route on Strava:   Thornton Hough to Nets Cafe

      21 miles, grade C, all on tarmac; no hard climbs, just up Station Road, with coming down Denhall Lane as the reward!

      For the return trip John will escort those needing it the 5 miles back from Nets to Thornton Hough.
