Port Sunlight to Claremont Farm

      The ride is open to all members of the Wirral Cycling Group and to anyone who has been on one of our newcomers’ rides


      You must not join a ride if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms or if you have been advised to self-isolate


      The ride will be Grade C, starting at 10:30 am from outside Port Sunlight railway station.  Trains arrive at Hooton from Hamilton Square at 10:02 and 10:22 on Wednesday mornings.  The ride leader will be Barry Roberts and he will be at Port Sunlight station from 10:15.

      On leaving the Station we go round and over The River Park, then from there onto Eastham Ferry, Rivacre, Childer Thornton, Missing Link, Burton, Neston Thornton Hough and then Claremont Farm. This venue is in striking distance of home for many, also local Stations are available for those wanting to use the train. The distance is approximately 23 miles. There are some ups and downs on the route but nothing to frighten anybody.

      The ride will finish with lunch at Claremont Farm in Clatterbridge.
