This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

Janet (D) Red Rooms to Bluebell Cafe

      The ride will be approximately 25 miles long, Grade D, starting at 10:30 am from outside Red Rooms cafe in Arrowe Park.  The ride leader will be Janet Coventry who will be at the Red Rooms Cafe from 10:15.  The ride will go from the Red Rooms to the Bluebelles Cafe in New Brighton for lunch at 16 miles and will then return to Arrowe Park.

      Leaving Arrowe Park we will head towards Irby and if we haven’t had a lot of rain will go along Limbo Lane ( track to Arrowebrook Road) otherwise through Irby to the Irby Mill roundabout. There will be just two other off road tracks (Gilroy Nature Reserve and Telegraph Lane off Leasowe Road).  After lunch, for those heading back to Arrowe Park, we will mainly follow the cycle route to Bidston Village,Woodchurch and Landican Lane.
