This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

    • This a grade C ride of 41 miles total from the Merebrook car park to Walk Mill, Waverton, Cheshire. It is mainly on quiet roads/ lanes. There are a few hills (678 ft of ascent).
    • David Brewer will be ride leader. We plan to meet at 09:45 for a 10:00 start from Bromborough station/ Merebrook.
    • The route will go via Brookhurst Ave, Eastham Rake, Willaston, Missing Link, Capenhurst, A52117 cycle path, Little Stanney, Stoak, Croughton, Chester Zoo, Mickle Trafford, Guilden Sutton, Belle Vue Lane, Littleton, Christleton, Waverton, Crocky Tail and to Walk Mill. Lunch there and we can view the working of this re-built/ modern water mill.  Back via Tarvin, Barrowmore, Dunham on the Hill, Thornton le Moors, Ellesmere Port, and Bromborough

    • The route returns to the start, but we will go via Ellesmere Port Station for anyone wanting an early train ride.
