This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

(B) Four Churches Tour in Cheshire

      • This is a 38 mile route grade B visiting four churches in North Cheshire. We will visit St Peter’s, Plemstall; St Bartholomew’s, Great Barrow; St John the Evangelist, Alvanley ; and St. Mary’s Thornton-le-Moors. There are a few steep hills – hence grade B. All churches are Grade 1 or 2 listed and are interesting!
      • David Brewer will be Ride Leader and start point will be the Merebrook car park , next to Bromborough Station. Start time 10:00.
      • The route is via Brookhurst Ave.; Childer Thornton ; Little Sutton; Great Sutton A41; A5117; Stoak; Picton ; Mickle Trafford; Plemstall; Guilden Sutton; Great Barrow; Manley Mere;  Alvanley; Dunham on the Hill (DoH). See Garmin route:-

      • Komoot
      • Lunch will be at Café Fresh, DoH
      • Route back will be via Thornton-le Moors; Ellesmere Port Station.; and will return to Bromborough Station
