This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

      The ride will be led by Andy Mace and we will go to the Boat Museum at Ellesmere Port for lunch / snack. The ride distance to lunch is circa 25 / 30 miles depending upon winter weather conditions. The route will take us to Heswall and Burton Marshes bridleway. As above the route from here will be decided on the day.

      Following lunch we will ride to Port Sunlight where the ride is likely to finish.  Total distance 33 / 38 miles.

      I plan to arrive at Red Rooms by 9.30am to enjoy a cup of tea before the start.

      Please make sure that you have working lights in case of delay.
