Possible obstacles The return journey is through Burntwood, Ewloe and over the  are a number of small hills or long climbs on this ride, there are also a few steep slopes but nothing too difficult. When crossing main roads or major junctions we will look for pedestrian crossings / islands and traffic lights.

Route is available on Komoot Hooton – Caergwrle – Hooton .

Lunch will be at Honey’s cafe in Caergwrle, about 12:45 – 1.15, which we as a group have visited on a number of times over recent years, I have booked tables. Should you have any dietary needs then please contact the cafe and make your own individual arrangements.01978 761760

Hazards Riding a bicycle on public roads is inherently a risk, from busy traffic, you can mitigate those risks by being aware of other road users and anticipating their likely actions. If you have not done so then please do read the WCG guide and Risk Assessment policy

After Lunch Be warned we still have some long slopes on the return leg. I will be returning back to Hooton via Penyffordd, Little Mountain, Burntwood, Ewloe,    Shotton, Burton Marshes. Hooton.

Trains On the outward leg there is a train station at Capenhurst, that will take you to Wirral (10.01 and every 15 min), on the return you can get a train from Penyffordd, or Shotton (14.06 and 15.39) that will take you to Bidston. I would advise you to bring money for both your lunch and the train should you choose to use them.
