(C) Hooton to Jemoleys

10:00 Wednesday June 28 2023

Current Participants: 0 space(s) available

    Ride Leader – Clare Procter

(Clare is currently injured, so John Hampson will lead the ride, unless Clare recovers in time)

Start – Hooton Station 10:00 am

    Meet – 9.45am

The route will take us down through Burton to the marsh gates along the Greenway and the river to the Saltney bridge. There will be a climb up Sandy Lane to Penyfford, but it is quite manageable. Lunch will be at the lovely Jemoleys cafe at a distance of 21 miles. The return route takes us down through Drury and Ewloe, back over Hawarden bridge to the Greenway and the marsh gates, where some riders may choose to leave the ride. For those who like hills we can head up Denhall Lane, before returning to Hooton through Burton village. Approximately 40 miles back to Hooton.

Jemoleys will require pre-orders [Click here to see Jemoley’s Menus].  I will email all booked riders with menus  a week or so before the ride.

Please ensure your bike is in good working order before joining the ride and that you are familiar with our group riding guidance.
