This is a grade D ride from Birkenhead Park to Brimstage Courtyard. Fairly flat, mainly on quiet roads.

The ride will be led by Jill McNamee. Meet at Birkenhead Park Visitors Centre at 10.15 to leave by 10.30. The cafe opens at 9am for anyone wanting breakfast or coffee/tea beforehand.

The route is courtesy of Paul Malloy and the link to Komoot is here: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1144261584

This is the latest slightly altered version as of 24/7/23

It is 22 miles to lunch and we will have a banana break around half-way, at Hadlow Rd where toilets are available. From Birkenhead Park we head south to New Ferry, Bebington, Raby Mere, Willaston Burton, Ness, Neston, Thornton Hough to Brimstage.

The Courtyard Coffee Shop and Cafe are expecting us. There are other areas for eating your own sandwiches but not in the cafe courtyard.

The ride leader will be returning via Red Hill Road and down to Port Sunlight [Bebington Station] where trains run to Birkenhead Park if you need to get back to the start. Please note, I don’t intend to ride back to Birkenhead Park

Bookings no longer allowed on this date.
