(C) Port Sunlight Station to Ellesmere Port Boat Museum

10:30 Wednesday November 17 2021

Current Participants: 3 space(s) available

Hi, as we in Autumn I thought I would keep the ride more local, so we’ll take a ride around South Wirral. This will be a “magical mystery tour” approx 23miles, grade C ride starting at 10.30 am, with me, Barry leading. The route will be after leaving Port Sunlight Station riding along the old railway track, through Spital and on through Raby Mere, then working our way through Thornton Hough, Parkgate, Burton, Capenhurst, Great Sutton and on to The Boat Museum. The Cafe there is well stocked to suit most peoples needs but there are facilities outside where we can take sandwiches.

There are a couple of rises on the route but I’m sure we can manage.

My intention will be to ride through to Eastham Ferry after lunch but other routes home are available. Ellesmere Port Station is also available around the corner.

So happy cycling, see you there!
