This is ride is open to all members of the Wirral Cycling Group, but is also suitable for people who have not previously ridden with a cycling group.  If you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities.  
Before the ride, check out the page on our website about taking part in one of our rides "Taking Part", and read the Advice from Cycling UK on riding in a group.  If you are new to riding with a group, please arrive 15 minutes before the advertised start time, so that the ride leader can brief you on how to ride safely with a group of other riders. 

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride



(D) Xmas Ride Port Sunlight Circular

    Xmas Ride, therefore, leisurely paced D ride at no more than 10mph and only 16 mls length. Traditionally, you are encouraged to dress your bikes with Christmas decorations and wear Christmas jumpers.

    Meet at Port Sunlight station at 10.15am for briefing and 10.30am start. We will then ride a circular route via Eastham Country Park, Hooton, Thornton Hough (banana break), Brimstage, Higher Bebington to return by noon in time for our Christmas lunch at the Levers Club, Port Sunlight. Relatively flat apart from steep climb up Red Hill Road to Mount Road.
