(C) Arrowe Park to Brimstage Circular

10:00 Wednesday June 1 2022

Current Participants: 3 space(s) available

This is a fairly laid back C grade ride, approximately 26 miles long and with just under 1000 ft elevation gain. The ride leader is Rob Holmes.

Starting at 10am from the Red Rooms Café at Arrowe Park, the route takes us along familiar roads and lanes through Thingwall, Pensby, Lower Heswall and Gayton to Parkgate where we will pause for a break.

Continuing on through Neston and down to Burton Marshes, past Net’s Café we will again pause before tackling the Station Road climb up to Burton Village and Mudhouse Lane.

A ten mile journey via Badgers Rake, Missing Link, Willaston, Raby and Thornton Hough will take us to Brimstage where we will stop for lunch at the Courtyard Café at Brimstage Manor.

The return journey to Arrowe Park is just five miles via Brimstage Lane, Red Hill Road and Landican Lane. If Landican Lane is particularly muddy, the route will divert along Station Road to Barnston.
