(B-) Ellesmere Port station to Bluebell Nursery Gardens, Dutton

10:00 Wednesday June 15 2022

Current Participants: 10 space(s) available

The ride starts (10am) & finishes at Ellesmere Port station & will be led by Andy Mace.

This is a grade B minus ride due to the distance (50 miles) combined with a few fairly short hills.  The ride speed will be as our C grade rides.

From E P station we ride via Dunham on the Hill, Barrowmore, Oscroft, Kelsall, Delamere Forest, Norley and Acton Bridge to Duddon.

Distance to lunch is 32 miles arriving about 1.30pm.  There is a small cafe at the nursery and there is a facility for self serve tea, coffee and cake. It’s fine to bring some of your own food too.

We return to station via Delamere, Mouldsworth and Dunham on the Hill.  18 miles.

Most of the ride is on quiet roads with some bridleways and canal paths where surfaces are fairly good.
