Current Participants: 3 space(s) available

This ride is 23 to the lunch stop at Meadow Lea Cafe, Mickle Trafford. It is graded D and mostly on roads or cycle tracks.

The ride leader is Jill McNamee and we’ll meet inside or outside the cafe opposite Port Sunlight Station. Please be there by 10.15 at the latest to check in and have a briefing as we’ll leave at 10.30

The route heads out via Stanton Rd, Brackenwook Rd, down Redhill Rd to join Route 56 to Thornton Hough [4.8 miles] West wirral riders can join here if they wish by arrangement with the leader. Probably about 11am but be there earlier. From Thornton Hough we go towards Raby, Willaston, cross the A540, down Damhead Lane, past Ness Gardens, down Denhall Lane, over the Marshes to join Route 5. Along the Greenway to Mickle Trafford. After lunch I will be heading towards the station at Bache. Depending on weather and my knees, cycling back to Port Sunlight could be an option.
