This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

    Start time 10am – meet 9.45am

    The outward route is via Capenhurst, Stoak, Picton, Mickle Trafford and Waverton 23 miles to the lunch stop. The return route to Hooton  will be a similar distance. We will retrace our steps as far as Waverton then head through Christleton, Littleton, Pipers Ash joining the greenway at Limewood Fields. For those wishing the get the train home  from either Chester or Bache both stations are a short ride from the greenway after 36 miles (from the start at Hooton). Some riders may choose to continue home along the greenway but if returning to Hooton we will exit at Egerton Road riding through Saughall to Lodge Lane then Ledsham before arriving back at Hooton station.
