August Friday Challenge Ride (A ride)

So here is the second chance to ride an imperial hundred (or a bit less for some actually) on a WCG ride.

This ride will be a hundred miles for me, but for our 1/2 ride friend it could well be less πŸ˜‰

Essentially from the Burton Marshes gate (or wherever the start point is – Hooton?) this will be about an 80 mile loop, so any potential centurions would need to factor in a commute to make it up to a full imperial century, or feeling brave just keep going as some have ridden to total up 125m for a double metric century..
Note that Net’s/most places won’t be open so the ride does actually start at the Marsh gates.

Once route is finalised (a different lunch stop beckons) it will be like most organised 100m rides and be roughly 4 equal legs, so not too daunting really. The May100 (TM) had us at ~19m from the gate for teacakes, then ~22m to our lunchtime oatcakes, then 25 to the cake-mobile, our final leg to the marshes being around ~15m. Plus onward commute.
Chester station bail out is an option and is a good one for those with a handy Merseyrail station, but much less so if you left a car at the Marshes…
