The ride will be 24 miles long, Grade D, and will start at 10:30 am from outside the Café at Thornton Hough Village Hall on Manor Rd, Thornton Hough. The ride leader will be Sonia Oldershaw and she will be in the cafe from 10:00 am.
The ride will go from Thornton Hough via Neston, Burton, Ledsham and Capenhurst, then along the Shropshire Union canal to stop for lunch at the Boat Museum in Ellesmere Port after 16 miles. There are benches by the Ship canal for those who have sandwiches, also the new Port & Anchor café is open.
Return trip back to Thornton Hough is about 8 miles, going through Rivacre, passing Hooton Merseyrail station after 4 miles for those who wish to leave the ride there.
