(C) Wirral Circular Trail from Hooton Station

10:00 Sunday September 19 2021

Current Participants: 3 space(s) available

This is a ride around (almost) all of the Wirral Circular Trail from Hooton Station (avoiding the bit around Leasowe that is just across a field and impassable on a road bike)

The route follows the Wirral Circular Trail (see the link here on Komoot: Wirral Circular trail from Hooton Station) and is a grade C ride at just over 37 miles long.  No big hills but almost half of the distance on unpaved road and paths such as the Wirral Way.  The ride leader will be John Hampson (on a road bike) and he will be at Hooton station from 09:45.  Trains from Hamilton Square arrive at Hooton at 09:36 and 09:58 on Sunday mornings.

We will have a break along the way on the shore at Hoylake and lunch will be at Vale Park in Egremont where there is a cafe and seating for people to bring their own sandwiches.

Bookings no longer allowed on this date.
