This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

      • Distance is 39.2 miles total. 18 miles out and approx. 21 miles back. Grade C. No off road sections and not many hills other than Lea-by-Backford outward and our favourite Denhall Lane back.
      • Ride Leader is David Brewer. Starting at 10:00 from Port Sunlight Station/ Tudor Tea Room
      • Route out is to: Eastham Woods; Eastham; Childer Thornton; Little Sutton; Capenhurst; A5117 Cycle Path; Stoak; Croughton; Backford; Lea by-Backford; Mollington. Back: via Saughall; Deeside; Burton March; Nets; Denhall Lane; Willaston; Raby; Raby Mere;  Spital; back to PS.

      • Please bring sandwiches for lunch on green at Mollington – 18 miles out (or at least at snack) . We will also stop at Nets (29 miles total) on way back for tea/ cake or lunch if you prefer.
      • Full route returns to Port Sunlight Station.
