This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

(C+) Ellesmere Port station to Whitegate station cafe

      This ride starts at 10.00am from Ellesmere Port station & will be led by Andy Mace. We return to Ellesmere Port station & the ride distance is about 45 miles. There is a nice cafe but you are fee to bring sandwiches if you prefer. The route avoids the Delamere Forest tracks, but there are q a few hills, tho’ not particularly long ones.

      From E port we take the industrial estate, Dunham, Hatchmere, Cuddington & the Whitegate Railway bridleway to the Station Cafe.

      We return via Cotebrook, Duddon, Christleton & Guilden Sutton to E Port station.  Most of the ride is on tarmac with some 6 / 8 miles of bridleway.
