This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

      Ride: Grade C, from Red Rooms Cafe, Arrowe Park. 43 miles total, 22 miles to lunch stop at Meadow Lea Cafe. Mainly on tarmac, but the Missing Link may be muddy and there will be fallen leaves on the Greenway.

      From Arrowe Park we will ride down the centre of Wirral through Barnston Dip, Storeton, Brimstage, Thornton Hough, Hooton Station, Missing Link (at 12 miles – banana stop), Capenhurst, a 2 mile section on the A5117 Cycle Path and Stoak to lunch at Meadow Lea Cafe, Mickle Trafford (at 22 miles).

      Facilities, menu and service at the cafe are generally very good.

      After lunch we will ride via The Greenway and Marsh Path to Ness (at about 35 miles) where there are opportunities for a refreshment stop if required. Many people will want to go their separate ways from various points from hereon, but I will lead back to Arrowe Park.
