This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

Xmas Ride – Hooton to Benty Farm Tearooms

      Clare, Sue and Una will lead groups of riders from Hooton to Benty Farm Tearooms for our Christmas ride. The ride will start at 10.30am and the route is an easy 15 miles and takes us along through Neston and Heswall and along the Frank Lewis Way to Thurstaston. We will arrive at the cafe approx 12 noon where we hope to meet up with other riders led by Peter from a different start point. We will be heading back towards Neston and Bromborough after lunch and anyone is free to join us or make their own way home. Don’t forget your Christmas hats, jumpers and tinsel on your bike ( not compulsory) The cafe will accommodate us in their outside marquee and will provide sandwiches, cake and a drink for £9.50. More details to follow on that and thanks to Peter for finding a venue to accommodate us. Members are free to make their own way there but please inform Peter if you intend to do this so we can keep track of numbers. If you book a place on the ride but feel unwell or have any symptoms of Coronavirus on the day please cancel your booking and stay at home.
