Sorry for the late posting. I have been away in France for 3 weeks including some cycling.

From Capenhurst station we go past Stanney Oaks and down the A5117 to climb up to Dunham on the Hill, and on to Kingsley and Hartford.

We head south along the cycle track beside the river Weaver , to Meadow Bank and pick up the Whitegate Way to the Station café for lunch (28 miles).

From there we go through Utkinson and Tarvin. Across the stone packhorse bridges at Hockenhall Platts and on through Mickle Trafford and Backford  to come back along through the series of gates along the railway back to Capenhurst.

The route is available on Komoot here.
