If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    Unfortunately Ewan has had to cancel his ride for this date so I am stepping in to offer the most unlike Ewan ride possible! A gentle pootle from Thornton Hough to Burton Manor Cafe.

    The ride is 25 miles long, Grade D (Average speed 8 -10 mph), and starts from outside the Village Hall on Manor Road in Thornton Hough. The ride will start at 10 am and be led by Dave Branch, please be at the start by 9.45 for ride briefing.

    The route will take us down the Runnell and through Neston, past Nets and across the Marsh. We’ll then skirt the Deeside Industrial Estate, going up to Woodbank and to Capenhurst. From Capenhurst we’ll cross Welsh Road and pick up Badgers Rake, crossing A540 and dropping down for lunch at Burton Manor after about 18 miles before returning to Thornton Hough via Raby.
