This is ride is open to all members of the Wirral Cycling Group, but is also suitable for people who have not previously ridden with a cycling group.  If you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities.  
Before the ride, check out the page on our website about taking part in one of our rides "Taking Part", and read the Advice from Cycling UK on riding in a group.  If you are new to riding with a group, please arrive 15 minutes before the advertised start time, so that the ride leader can brief you on how to ride safely with a group of other riders. 

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride


(D) ride to Manor Farm

    :This is a D ride so the pace is 8-10 m.p.h.Starting from Chester Station, we will meet just outside the entrance to the station ready to leave at 10.30

    A little distance of the ride is along the canal towpath and there is one hill going around Beeston but we have all done it before at a slow pace

    Lunch will be  at Manor Farm after 18 miles then 10 miles back to the station or cycle home

    After you have added the information about the ride, to publish it and to allow people to book on, make sure that the Status (at the top of the right-hand side of this page) is set to “Public” and that the tick on the “Rota Only” box (half way down on the right-hand side of this page) is removed.  And then delete all these instructions!
