If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    C Ride from Thornton Hough to Chocks Away, Hawarden Airport of 38 miles at average speed of 11mph with 550ft elevation.

    Please arrive at Thornton Village Hall for 9.45 briefing before 10am start. Route will take us out to Raby passing Hooton Station ( please advise me separately if you prefer to meet there at c. 10.15 am). Then onto Capenhurst taking a banana break, following the cycle paths alongside the A494 & Welsh roads picking up the Greenway at Sealand until Blacon heading down to cross the Dee at Saltney Ferry and onto our lunch stop at Chocks Away after 22mls.

    Return will be back to the River Dee following the river path to Hawarden Bridge passing through the Deeside Industrial Estate to the Burton Marshway path back to Thornton Hough via Neston.
