This is a fast ride only suitable for people who can maintain a fast pace (15 to 20 mph) for a prolonged period of time.   
And please note that the pace will be above the legal maximum for electric assistance for the majority of the ride.
If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    Friday century ride (or not) starting at Burton Marsh gate 9am.

    Usual Century format of a ‘loop’ that needs making up to a century, often many more for some riders but only do the extra if you want!

    This ride starts at the marshes at 9am and is also ending at the marsh gate and is around 81miles. So if you’re adding 19m for the century remember it’s much better to do the bulk before!

    Outbound via Marshes, Dee, Bretton, Dodleston to the Hwb (16m from gate) then Holt, Bangor on Dee, Overton, Hindford to Gobowen Station (25m).

    Return is a reverse to just beyond Hindford, but then Dodleston Heath, Worthenbury, Shocklach, Farndon, Churton, Aldford, Bruera, Saighton and Aldford Cafe 24m (or the cake mobile hopefully 26m) then Huntingdon, Dee Banks, canal (to Chester station 6/4m) Lightfoot St to Greenway back to the marsh gate 16m (or 14m).

    Outbound leg is 40m and 900 foot of climb as plotted, return is 41m and 800.
