This is a fast ride only suitable for people who can maintain a fast pace (15 to 20 mph) for a prolonged period of time.   
And please note that the pace will be above the legal maximum for electric assistance for the majority of the ride.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    This ride starts at the Beatles Statues, Liverpool Pier Head at 10am.

    A fairly large loop of the Lancashire market garden areas to the south of Preston.

    Route is bike paths to just beyond the new Everton ground, then short stretch of Dock Rd to the back streets of Bootle, skirting Litherland towards Netherton to pick up the Cheshire Lines path (briefly) that skirt Maghull then Downholland Cross, Scarisbrick, Martin Mere, Mere Brow, Hesketh bank, Mere Brow#2, Croston, Mawdsley, Lathom to Ormskirk station, or continue to Maghull North Station or back to Liverpool for James Street station (or ferry?). Ormskirk 54m, Maghull N 60m, Liverpool 71m (only 500 foot round trip).

    Rail pass users can get the train from 09:31 from Hamilton Square (barrier might refuse you as twirly but they’ll let you through usually) or the 36,41,44 still make 10am. Commuter ferry at 09:40 at Seacombe, tide looks like outbound won’t be a death slide down, the return however…
