If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride



B Ride – 52 miles: Arrowe Park (Red Rooms) to Connah's Quay.

    This is a B ride of 51 miles, with around 1,100 feet of climb.

    We will aim to maintain an average speed of 12 – 14 MPH. To achieve this, we will need to cycle at a higher speed for most of the time.

    Meeting at Red Rooms Golf Cafe in Arrowe Park at 09:30 for a 09:45 depart.

    Route Out Clockwise around the Wirral: Greasby, Moreton, New Brighton, Seacombe, New Ferry, Eastham Ferry, Childer Thornton,  Missing Link, Caperhurst, Dunkirk, Cycle path to River Dee, Connah’s Quay. (35 miles to Connah’s Quay).

    After Lunch We will be returning back to Arrowe Park, via Burton marshes, Neston, Heswall & Irby. (16 miles on return route to AP).

    Possible obstacles No major problems with this route, much of it is familiar to most of us, we will take extra care when crossing main roads and look for pedestrian crossings / islands and traffic lights.
