If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride



(C) Port Sunlight to Chocs Away via Neston

    A Grade C ride of 40 miles starting outside Port Sunlight Railway Station and going to Chocks Away via Neston and Hawarden.  

    John Hampson the ride leader will be at the station by 09:45 for the ride briefing.

    The route goes out by Spital and Raby Mere to Raby and Neston, then alongside Burton Marshes, through the Deeside Industrial estate, crossing the Dee at Queensferry.  Then up the hill to Hawarden, so we can come back down the hill for lunch at Chocks Away.

    After lunch over the Dee at Saltney Ferry, into Chester then past the Countess of Chester Hospital to go along the Shropshire Union canal path to Lea-by-Backford, then through the Chester Gates to Dunkirk, Capenhurst Willaston and returning to Port Sunlight by Bromborough and the A41.
