If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride



(B) Red Rooms to Boat Museum Ellesmere Port.

    This ride is classed as a ‘B’ & will be led by Mark Burrows from Red Rooms (Arrowe Park) at 10:00am.

    We will meet by 9:45am for the ride briefing.

    We will be leaving the park, heading towards Greasby, Arrowebrook Lane up to the Irby Mill, Caldy, W K and Hoylake prom to Leasowe Lighthouse.  We will then along the main road to Lidl in Wallasey Vilage, Harrison drive and into New Brighton, Along the Mersey promenade to Seacombe where we will take a (banana) break. Birkenhead – Woodside, Rock Ferry, Village Hotel Rock Ferry, Eastham Park up the hill, Left onto Oil Site rd, Under the M53 and into Ellesmere Port.  Where we will take lunch at the Boat museum.

    Return Route. Rossmore through Little Sutton, Thornton Hough, back to Red Rooms.

    There are various rail stations on route which could be an option for an exit point, should you find that things are not going smoothly.

    Toilets could be available at Red Rooms (before we start), Leasowe – cash needed, Seacombe Ferry, and Eastham Park.

    The route out  from Red Rooms is about 31 miles, and the return to Arrowe Park is about 18 miles.  Most of us will achieve a mid range distance when including the commute distances.
