If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    C ride of 40 mls meeting at Thornton Village Hall for briefing at 9.45 am with 10 am start. Ride will be at between 10 to 12 mph with only a few short steady climbs – 825ft elevation overall.

    We will head out via Willaston to Hooton Station where we can collect any riders who prefer to join us there around 10.15 am. If so please advise the ride leader Simon Etty 07485 006266.

    We will then continue via the Missing link to Capenhurst, Stoak, Mickle Trafford, Great Barrow, a short stretch alongside the busy Tarvin Road before returning towards Mickle Trafford and lunch stop at Meadow Lea cafe after 22 mls.

    Return will be along the nearby Greenway all the way through Chester & Blacon before turning off at the Deeside Industrial Estate heading across the Burton marshes path & Neston to Thornton Hough.
