      The ride is open to all paid -up members of the Wirral Cycling Group and to anyone who has been on one of our newcomers’ rides.

      You must not join a ride if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms or if you have been advised to self-isolate

      The ride will be Grade C approximately 40 miles, starting at 10 am from the car park of the Merebrook Hotel besides Bromborough Railway Station on Allport Road to Chester Lakes at Balderton in Cheshire.  Trains arrive at Bromborough from Hooton at 9:42 and from Hamilton Square at 9:54 on Sunday mornings.  The ride leader will be Clare Procter and she will be at the start from 9:45.

      The ride will go out via the Missing Link, Capenhurst, Saughall to Saltney Bridge with a lunch stop at Chester lakes after approximately 21 miles. Then back to Bromborough via Saltney Bridge, along the River Dee to Garden City, then back on Woodbank Lane, through Capenhurst and the Missing Link.
