      The ride is open to all paid -up members of the Wirral Cycling Group and to any guest who has been on one of our newcomers’ rides.


      You must not join a ride if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms or if you have been advised to self-isolate


      The ride will be just over 29 miles long, Grade C, starting at 10 am from the car park of the Merebrook Hotel besides Bromborough Railway Station on Allport Road.  Trains arrive at Bromborough from Hamilton Square at 9:52 and from Hooton at 9:49 on Wednesday mornings.  The ride leader will be Clare Procter and she will be at the start from 9:45.

      We will go out through Eastham to Raby and Thornton Hough.  People can join the ride at Thornton Hough Village Hall at 10:30, provided they arrange it with Clare in advance.   From Thornton Hough the ride will continue to Arrowe Park, then past Saughall Massie and Leasowe to Wallasey to Vale Park in New Brighton for Lunch.  The cafe there should be open for take-away drinks and snacks or you can bring your own.  The return trip will be along Egremont Promenade to Seacombe, then Woodside, Rock Park and Port Sunlight and past Raby Mere back to Bromborough station.

      The ride should get back to Bromborough between 13:30 and 14:00.
