If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride



(C) Red Rooms (Arrowe Park) to Net's Café via Leasowe Lighthouse

    This ride is classed as a ‘C’ & will be led by Mark Burrows from Red Rooms (Arrowe Park) at 10:00am.

    We will meet by 9:45am for the ride briefing.

    We will be leaving the park at Greasby, and heading to Irby Mill, Caldy, W K and Hoylake prom to Leasowe Lighthouse.  We will the turn inland to Moreton, Stavordale, ‘Fender Lane Cycle Lane’ to Bidston & Flaybrick Hill, where we will take a (banana) break.  The ride continues along through Prenton and dropping down to Bebbington Station & Port Sunlight Station.

    These rail stations could be an option for an exit point, should you find that things are not going smoothly.  We will continue via Claremont Farm, towards Raby, Leahurst, Ness & cruise down Denhall Lane to Net’s Café for lunch.

    Toilets could be available at Red Rooms (before we start), Hoylake Promenade & Leasowe – cash needed, Port Sunlight Station & Net’s Café.

    The route out  from Red Rooms is about 28 miles, and the return to Arrowe Park is about 10 miles.  Most of us will achieve a mid range distance when including the commute distances.

    The return route takes us along the ‘river path’ to Little Neston, Neston, Heswall, Irby to Arrowe Park.
