Lunch will be provided at Thurstaston visitor centre, for which we will be charged [cost £tbc per head] – payable on the day.
The plan is that there will be rides starting in various locations to all arrive at the Whistlestop Cafe in Thurstaston country park. We are planning to pre arrange a lunch box and drink for everyone price and options to follow but you could bring your own and just buy a drink from the cafe. Details to follow but last year it was very good and less than £10. This should be a fun club event where we all get to meet in one place!
If anyone wishes to ride but self cater they need to let the leader know in advance.
After Lunch We will be returning back to WK, up Station Road towards Thurstaston village, Irby, Arrowe Park, Irby Mill & Caldy (10 miles + 95m climb on return route to WK).
Possible obstacles No major problems with this route, much of it is familiar to most of us, we will use cycle lanes where available and take extra care when crossing any main roads and look for pedestrian crossings / islands and traffic lights.
