If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.
If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    This is a 40 mile relatively flat ride from Hooton to Manor Farm Cafe (formerly Old Ma’s) at Gateheath – 22 miles out and 18 miles return to Marsh Gate. The ride will be run at an average 10 -12 mph pace.

    The ride will be led by Dave Branch. Please be at Hooton Station by 9.45 for briefing and a 10 am start.

    The outward route will take us to Capenhurst along the A5117 bypass to Stoak, Mickle Trafford, Waverton then along country lanes through Hargrave to Gateheath.

    After lunch the return route will take us through Bruera, Saighton and down to the Dee at Huntington, up through Boughton and Hoole (Chester station bail out option available) to pick up Greenway, back to Marsh Gate.

    From Marsh Gate riders can make their own way home or return with me to Hooton (5 additional miles)
