If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities. 
If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of Grade D rides which are suitable for newcomers.

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    43 miles, Grade C with only 850 feet of elevation.  John Hampson, the ride leader will be at Ormskirk Station at 10:30.  Trains from Liverpool arrive at 10:00 and 10:30.

    Out past Martin Mere to Mere Brow then crossing the Rufford Branch of the Leeds Liverpool Canal and the River Douglas to Bretherton, Much Hoole and Walmer Bridge before a stop at Longton Brickcroft Nature Reserve.  Then on to Longton and Penwortham and along the banks of the River Ribble to Avenham Park, across the newly restored Tram Bridge and down the Old Tramway Road to Lostock Hall to lunch in Worden Park, Leyland

    After lunch back to Ormskirk past Eccleston, Mawdsley, and through Bispham Green, Hoscar and Lathom.
