This is ride is open to all members of the Wirral Cycling Group, but is also suitable for people who have not previously ridden with a cycling group.  If you would like to join us on a ride, then book onto this ride using the form below, but please telephone or email the ride leader when you receive the booking confirmation to let them know about your experience and capabilities.  
Before the ride, check out the page on our website about taking part in one of our rides "Taking Part", and read the Advice from Cycling UK on riding in a group.  If you are new to riding with a group, please arrive 15 minutes before the advertised start time, so that the ride leader can brief you on how to ride safely with a group of other riders. 

If you have an underlying health condition which could flare up when cycling (such as diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, anaphylactic shock, heart issues, etc.), then it would be appreciated if you could disclose this to the ride leader (in confidence) prior to the start of the ride

    D ride from Bromborough to Chester Groves meet at 19am at the Mearbrook bar and grill next to Bromborough train station arrive for 10am for a 10.15 start
    suitable for newcombers who are confident they can compleat 25/30 miles at 8/10 miles per hour average . Not too hilly . mostly flat some paved roads canal tow paths and cycle lanes and can find there way home if they cant compleat the ride The option will be to do one way and get the train back to Bromborough or return to the start guided.
    Bring a flask and a sandwich or you can buy snacks and ice cream next to the groves . There are lots of benches to sit by the river and enjoy lunch weather permtting.
    Bring money mobile snacks water inner tube working lighrmts and suitable clothing.
