(D)Peak Cluster part 2. Arrowe Park to Net's Cafe

10:00 Wednesday June 17 2026

Current Participants: 14 space(s) available

This is a follow on from the Peak Cluster part 1, coastal AGI tour (video is on the WCG Facebook page). This time we will be following the proposed pipe route from Arrowe Park to the area South of Willaston which is being surveyed for the siting of a “connection AGI” (Above Ground Installation).

The ride leader is Rob Holmes and we will start the ride at 10am from Arrowe Park golf clubhouse.

This is a “D” category ride

The route is 17 miles to lunch at Net’s Café with two banana stops; one at little Storeton and one at Hadlow Road Station. We will cycle at an average speed of 8 – 10mph with a total elevation gain of 360 ft.

We will cycle familiar roads and paths, taking in Brimstage, Thornton Hough, Willaston and the Missing Link (which is straddled by the connection AGI site).

Along the route we will cross the CO2 pipeline route ten times and travel through the connection AGI area from it’s North Boundary to the South Boundary.

As with the part 1 ride, maps and other information will be provided.

I will be returning to Arrowe Park after lunch via Neston, Boathouse Lane and Barnston.

The route can be viewed on Komoot by visiting the link below:
