(D) Bromboro – Burton Manor – Bromboro

    A circular(ish) 24 mile D ride along decently surfaced roads & bike paths (apart from The Missing Link). Average speed will be 8 to 10 mph. Mainly flattish terrain with the occasional little rise (up to Eastham village, up from Parkgate Parade, & out of Burton) but nothing too taxing. Care needed crossing the A41 at Childer Thornton & the Welsh Road towards Hooton.

    Lunch after 17 miles is at Burton Manor cafe, tried & successfully tested previously. (A banana break will be taken, probably outside the toilet block in Parkgate…)

    Rideleader David Hill will be at the Merebrook car park from 9.45 for a 10 am start.

    No offence taken if riders from Heswall & all points north prefer to make their own way home after lunch rather than return to Bromborough. Car parking is available either at Bromborough station car park or in neighbouring side streets.
