Friday ride starting at Burton Manor Cafe 10am
So as the weather is looking half decent I thought we’d have a little twiddle around Cheshire but via Wales 😉 . From Burton it’s across the Marshes and along the Dee, over at Saltney and head to Bretton and right into Broughton for the haul up The Old Warren, dropping across to Barton level crossing, then up a bit of Marford Hill to Borras Head before the descent to Holt and the Dee crossing, into Stretton, Carden Park then lunch at Manor Wood (34m 1000′). Return is over to Tattenhall, Hoofield, Walk Mill, Waverton, Mickle Trafford, Chester Zoo, Backford, Lea by Backford, Mollington towards Saughall then either Shotwick for the marshes/west Wirral or Capenhurst for Hooton area and central Wirral (33m 600′ Burton Marsh Gate).
Plan is just 1 cafe stop at half way so have some snacks.
