    Hello everyone, this is Barry and I will be leading this adventure,  grade C ride to Meadow Lea Cafe in Mickle Trafford. The distance is about 23 miles, then the return leg from there can be about 15 miles depending on your route home or method of transport.

    Once leaving Port Sunlight we will head down the pathway to Eastham Ferry and on to Ellesmere Port via North road, then onto Oil Sites road, cutting through to the Helsby road, the A5117 cycle path taking the right turn toward Bridge trafford. At the end we will turn left on a slightly busy road for about half a mile then taking to right turn to Great Barrow and Stamford Bridge. After that it’s a ride through the country along the Tarvin road, through Guilden Sutton and  into Mickle Trafford.

    There are a few rises here and there but no serious hills to contend with. As most will know this is a good Cafe with a good menu, so we just need a good weather day.

    The way back will be via Picton and Stoak and onto to where anybody wants to go. See you there
