This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

      The ride is about 25 miles to our lunch stop at Chester Groves & will be led by Andy Mace. From Red Rooms we will head to the Burton Marshes Greenway, then R Dee path and Curzon Park to the Groves.  There are toilets , seating & takeaway options at Groves.

      After lunch we will go past Chester Racecourse and take the canal towpath for about 3 miles. We will then head to Capenhurst and “missing link” to Eastham or Port Sunlight & Birkenhead.

      Please make sure that you have working lights in case of any delay.  There are no particular hills of note, but care will be needed as mud and leaves may well be encountered.
