(C) Arrowe Park to Ellesmere Port Boat Museum

10:00 Wednesday November 16 2022

Current Participants: 0 space(s) available

This is a C grade ride starting at 10am from Red Rooms cafe. Led by Andy Mace.

The ride distance to lunch stop will be in the range of 20 to 30 miles depending on the no of riders and, of course, the weather on the day. As of 15th the plan is to ride to Lower Heswall & join the Wirral Way to Parkgate.  Then past Nets cafe and on to the Burton Marshes path.  After this we will probably take the Chester Green way and a short canal section to Countess of Chester hospital grounds.  Then NCN 56 and through Ellesmere Port to Boat Museum.

I cycled the Burton Marshes path & section of Wirral Way on Sunday on my road bike and these were fine & hadn’t been attacked by the naughty sheep! Obviously the surfaces may be a little damp tomorrow.  Weather forecast suggests we may get away with no rain / light shower.

Following lunch at Boat M we will go to E Port station (for those taking train ), then Hooton and Thornton Hough and return to Arrowe Park.

Please email me on andym.silserv@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Bookings no longer allowed on this date.
