This ride is only open to members of the Wirral Cycling Group.  If you are an experienced rider who has ridden with other cycling groups and would like to join us on a ride, then please get in touch with us via the <Contact Form> so we can make arrangements.  If you have not ridden with a cycling group before, and would like to find out what riding with our group is like, then please book onto one of our monthly rides for newcomers.

    Meeting point: Capenhurst station.  I will be there from 9.45 am

    We leave Capenhurst and drop down to join the greenway at the Dragon bridge.  After crossing the Dee on the railway bridge, we climb gently up through Shotton and past Aston Hall to Ewloe and Buckley.  Pleasant, quiet lanes take us to Hope and a long, straight descent to Higher Kinnerton where we will have lunch.

    From there we drop to the Lache and cross the Dee to come to Blacon and Saughall, then the cycle track by the railway, back to Capenhurst
